Well, I’ve posted part 1 on my Primary and Secondary life. Now part 2 will be on my Diploma life of course. I did enter Form 6 actually but only for two months. Nothing much to say here, just want to thank Bevina and her mom for sending me to school every morning. Oh my cousin, Julian was there with me again.

Let’s hop into my three years memories during Diploma in Polytechnic of Kota Kinabalu. In the first semester, I had a best friend from Johor, Surayahani, whom we called Sue. But she was only with us for one semester, and then she moved to UIA. Also in the first semester, I was quite close with Ruby, Rofinah and Witeh. Then in the second semester, I started to get close with Frika, Maurine, and Elleryl Lynn. Soon we were the best of friends. We ate together, shopped together, etc. But again things changed in the third semester. Frika was not around with us anymore, because she was expecting a baby! So Florichel, or whom we called Girl, sort of substitute Frika into our gang haha. And soon we were the best of friends also. We did a lot of things together as we did before with Frika. I was quite active back then. In the first semester, I joined the seniors to perform in the convocation day. In the second semester, I was the chairperson conducting English oral presentation. In the third semester I joined the “Community Service Program” and we went to Kg Laut Weston Beaufort, and I get myself a foster family there.

Then in the forth semester, I went to Industrial Training at Sabah Credit Corporation. Erm, here, I get to know a lot of aunties and uncles haha. I was allocated in Legal and Enforcement Section, and everyone has been very kind to me. In five months time, I gained weight 4kg! muahaha. See how kind they are.

Everyone get back to campus life in the fifth semester. We were then moved to our new campus at Sepanggar. This was the time when I got my little baby, kancil putihku. I’m still with Girl, Maurine, and Elleryl. But I also started to get close with Diana, and I get to know Shirlyn, Linda, and Noulin better than before. We were quite the same in the sixth semester. Nothing much changed. My roommate was Diana. Sometimes, we could talk nonstop for hours. Same thing goes with Girl, when we met, they said “macam 10 tahun tak jumpa”, even until now when we get to meet each other. I don’t quite remember if I joined any activities in the fifth semester. I think it was in the sixth semester that I joined the Student Representative Council. Nothing much to share about it. I also participated in the “Cultural Night” where I get to dressed in the Kadazan’s traditional costume.

I gained a lot from these three years, really a lot. All the hard and soft, bitter and sweet, etc. Along the way, there was also this big guy, Soffiyan, our class representative. You couldn’t have missed him with his size so big! Every lecturer knows him. Way to go, Pian! Okay, to be continued in the next part. That’s all there is, there isn’t anymore.. (copied from the show Madeline hehe)

Because somebody has forgotten what the BI project was about, so let me briefly describe about it again hehe. Each group has to come up with a TV show, kinda like we were the TV producer or something. So my group, 10 of us, that would be Nat, me, Karen, Carol, Elyssa, Cres, Hester, Andrea, Momok, and Christine. As far as I could remember, in our TV show, we had the weather report by Nat, the news report by Momok (the NBCC – nothing but cheap crap channel), the P.Ramlee’s Bujang Lapok by Carol, me, and Karen, the Kush-kush HoTaHei show, and I think the most funny of all, the smart shop advertisement on Sliming Pen. We start it with Momok and Christine as “before using the sliming pen” then the rest of us as “after using the sliming pen” and lastly came Elyssa and Andrea as “using the sliming pen overdose” hahaha. I’m not sure if there were any other shows by our group beside those I’ve mentioned. I remember we brought costumes, radio, and other stuff. We were the last group to perform and the whole class sanggup skip masa rehat to watch our performance (hebat hehe). Ms Priscilla announced that our group was the best and she even gave us certificate for this particular BI project. Well I hope you have refresh your memory back to our 4SA life in the chemistry lab!

My friends said my life is boring and very routine. Or maybe they rather say that I have no life at all. Hm let’s venture my activities during this two weeks term break. Actually, I didn’t really have a break because I’m babysitting my six months old niece when her mother goes to work everyday. Well, taking care of a baby is very, very routine you know. Every morning, I have to wake up at around 6.30am. I have to feed her with six ounce of Dumex milk every four hours. I have to bath her at 2pm every day. And I have to make sure she get enough sleep and make sure she get to play all she wants (or in other words, I have to get ready her toys clean enough for her to “eat” haha). Apart from my niece, I have a six year old sister to take care of too. She keeps on following me wherever I go. She always wants me to play with her, to let her play with my games in my laptop, to read her stories, to teach her arts and crafts, etc etc etc.

A six months old baby and a six years old kid, everything under control. Qualified as a good mother ay? Naah… there’s just one little thing that is very important lack in me. I can’t cook! Muahaha. Well, I can cook rice (with the help of a rice cooker), I can cook noodles (as long as it’s an instant one), I can cook corn soup (but using jagung dalam tin), oh I can cook a few type of soups (because you just put everything inside the water haha). But don’t ask me to fry fish or cook vegetable, and I can’t bake. I’m a really, really bad cook. I can say that Carol is a greater mom than I am. Because besides babysitting, she can cook! Last time, she told us that she can cook chicken dishes very well. Mmm yummy.

So, next time when a guy propose to me, instead of asking him “do you love me”, perhaps I should ask him “can you cook” hahahahaha!!!

People always say that friends come and go. You think so? I think that once they come, they stay in your heart and they won’t go away! If people ask you how Many friends do you have, how would you answer that? Oh it’s uncountable. Do you mean how Much friends do I have? Hehe… but of course if you ask me who are my closest friends, I can answer you that. Well, it doesn’t mean that if you’re not close to me then I don’t like to be your friend. I’m sure everyone has their own closer friends than other.

Hm let me flash back. I couldn’t remember my kindergarten friends. I know my cousin Julian was there with me. But I remember most of my primary friends. In primary one, my closest friends are Chim Pik Moi and Joan Lo. Em but I can’t remember what we always do together. In primary two, I started to get close to May Pang. Teachers always mixed up the both of us because they said we look alike. In primary three, I started to get close with Nat. When she first came to SFC, everyone thought she’s the “orang putih” from London hehe. Something interesting happened in primary four. I had a “club” with four other friends. We called ourselves Five Friends and we even had a club logo. If I’m not mistaken, my members were Elyssa, Hester, Kerry Yong, and May Pang. Or was it Nat and not May? I’m not sure. Then in primary five we moved to the new building at Bukit Padang. And there was a new kid, presenting Roanne hehe. I think I was quite close to Kerry and Adel A. that time. They brought me, the “orang miskin” to Golf View Golf Club haha. Then in primary six, I had this Hong Kong drama fan gang”. We love to watch Hong Kong drama series and talked about it over and over. It was Nat and Adrianna actively involved. Sometimes Kah Gen (that’s what we called her last time), Stynie, Rohani and May P. joined in the chat.

Okay, next, my secondary friends. I was separated with most of my close friends in form one. I was quite close to Sheena May that time, and I also hated Karen Soh that time muahaha. In form two, I was with Nat, Carol and Elyssa. Then there was this “club” of ours too. This was where all the comic fans gathered as “Dragon Yuyu Slam Ball” hehe. Elvina, Juliana, Sharon A. etc were part of it. Also in form two, I was close with Dayang, but I called her Garfield (a great fan). Karen started to join me, Nat, Carol and Elyssa in form three. Eventually, I do not hate her anymore hehe. The five of us sat at the same table in form four. And we get close with five others at the table behind us, Momok, Christine, Andrea, Hester and Crescentia. The best activity I had during form four was the English Project conducted by Ms. Priscilla. The ten of us had a job well done on it. Do you guys remember what was it about? Finally in form five we were separated again. I was in the same class with Carol and Karen, while Elyssa, Nat and Christine sat next to each other in the other class. I was quite close to Neethar that time. And there were Fitriah, May, Momok, Maemae, Roanne, Juliana etc seated behind me. Not forgetting Andrea, seated behind Carol and Karen, and also Twiggy (always absent haha).

Oh there is so much more to say, so many more to list. This is just roughly what I could remember. I always forget things very fast. Those not mention (I know a lot more of you gals), remember that you’re still in my heart, always. Once a friend, always a friend. God bless us all.

Flash Back

October 24th, 2006 by felytiti

The other day, while I was reading “Chocolate for a Teen’s Spirit”, I came across a sharing about “Friends Forever”. Here’s a little something I stole out from the passage:

“You think that girl had bad taste?” I said. “Check that out.” I pointed out the window toward the front of the restaurant. The car that has just pulled up was coated in a sickly chartreuse color; it looked like one giant late-stage bruise. “Why would you actually spend money to buy a car that ugly?” I continued. Molly turned around to look out the window then looked back at me. “That’s my mom’s car,” she said. “She’s here to pick us up.” I was horrified. The look on my face was obviously priceless; Molly dissolved into laughter.

Hmm, does anyone remember quite a similar incident that had actually happened to us way back in our secondary life? One fine afternoon, after our routine sport practice at Bukit Padang, a few of us waited for our parents together under a big shady tree. After waited for a while, suddenly came an old faded red Proton. This particular friend of ours, let me name her A, simply blurted out, “Punya buruk kereta tu!” And we all looked at that car while B exclaimed, “Itu kereta mami sia lah!” Shocked at first, but then we all burst out in laughter. Do you remember whether you are that particular A or B? The moral of the story here, it’s bad to talk bad about others. Yeah~
